東京駅 (Tokyo Station) is much more than just a commuting hub. It’s filled to the brim with shops that are underground, above ground, and around the station itself.

Here we stroll through the 地下街 (underground shopping district), in particular the キャラクターストリート (Character Street). Fans of Pokémon, Ghibli (maker of animated movies like Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, etc), Jump comics (DragonBall, One Piece, Bleach, etc), Kaiju movies (Ultraman, Godzilla, Gamera) etc are going to have a blast in all the shops that stock authentic figures, apparel, and other miscellaneous goods.
